Where do I start. During one of the most difficult times of your life Adam and his team are there for you. They think of all the things that you don't--even the things that you don't think you need, they have your back. The celebration of life for my dad could not have been more perfect. From the day he died they showed dad and the rest of us the utmost respect. The mass was organized when we didn't have our feet underneath us, Adam picked us up and carried us through the whole service. The color guard ceremony was beyond the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced. The attention to detail is just unbelieveable. And the entire time there was no pressure to do anything you weren't comfortable with or didn't want to do. I literally cannot say enough good things about this professional staff. They are there for your every need, no matter how small, and they never make you feel like you are a bother. While I hope none of my friends and family has to go through a loss in the near future, I will not hesitate to tell them to call HS&K because they are truly the best. When mom was near her end days with us, we made the difficult call to multiple funeral homes to explore our options. When we called Hoffman, Schneider, & Kitchen, we were transferred immediately to Adam, a funeral director, instead of just talking with a reception like we had with the others. Adam gently walked us through an overview of what we could expect and he offered an in-home consultation if that would be easier for us. After consideration overnight, my dad chose to go with Adam. Adam visited with us at our home, and took his time walking through the decisions that needed to be made by the family, as well as what he and his team would be taking care of for us. When mom passed, we met with Adam's team to go over the final details. and they seemed to go above and beyond to make everything easier for us during such a difficult, stressful time. We received immediate answers when we had questions and called, even after hours on one occasion. During the planning, the decision making, the wake service at the church, the mass, and delivering the pictures and flowers afterwards, Adam and his team worked seamlessly to handle everything with ease. The days/week that followed, Adam, his wife, and team checked in on us several times. We feel like they took care of us like they would their own family.
